  • An original piece of acrylic and ink artwork by Helen Davison, otherwise known as Aitch. Designed to be abstract in style, it has been painted entirely with a palette knife, in order to give the impression of the many layers of rock. It is inspired by the South Rim of the Grand Canyon as seen at sundown, which I saw this summer. Colours used include red, brown, yellow and white. It is framed in a mahogany style frame as can be seen in the in situ photograph. This work, if not sold before, will be on display at the Original Art Exhibition in Addingham on the weekend of 24th and 25th November 2007.

Date of completion: 28th October 2007.
