Just A Thought encapsulates exactly what the end result started off as!! I wanted to create a dreamy, far-away, lost-in-thought type of painting using my favourite colour, red. I think you can almost lose yourself whilst looking at this, as you imagine different patterns emerging from the abstract shape created. I have painted this using rich reds, blues and purples in a mix of acrylic and metallic acrylic paints. The technique I used was to simply push the paint thickly from the brush onto the card then move it around until there was no paint left on the brush.I have had this painting framed with a toning metallic blue frame.
